Mangal font, explained
Mangal is the Unicode Hindi font that ships with Microsoft Windows. When an office asks for a document "in Mangal", they mean Unicode Hindi — text that stays correct on any computer and can be uploaded to portals. Kruti Dev text, by contrast, is English characters dressed up as Hindi; it breaks as soon as the font is missing.
Paste into MS Word or Google Docs
- Paste your Kruti Dev text above and click Copy output.
- MS Word: paste, press Ctrl+A, choose Mangal (or Nirmala UI) from the font list.
- Google Docs: paste directly — choose a Devanagari font like Noto Sans Devanagari if needed.
Going the other way?
If a typing test or printer needs Kruti Dev, use Mangal to Krutidev.
