Why convert Kruti Dev to Unicode?
Kruti Dev 010 was the standard Hindi typing font in government offices for decades, so a lot of Hindi material — notices, letters, exam papers — is still stored in it. But Kruti Dev text is really English characters drawn as Hindi shapes. Search engines can't read it, it breaks when the font is missing, and online forms reject it. Unicode is the universal standard for Hindi: it is searchable, works on every device and is what Google, WhatsApp and government portals expect.
Common problems and fixes
- Output shows strange letters: your input may already be Unicode. Use the Unicode to Krutidev converter instead.
- A few words look wrong: the source may use a different legacy font (e.g. DevLys or Chanakya). This tool supports Kruti Dev 010 and compatible fonts.
- Need Mangal font? Mangal is a Unicode font, so this output is already Mangal-compatible — see Krutidev to Mangal.
